PASMA Instructors invited to explore tower safety

Nov 16, 2016

Leading supplier of BoSS access towers, Youngman recently supported PASMA’s Tower Safety Week by providing a practical CPD training session for instructors about its product ranges.

The CPD presentations allowed course instructors to learn more about the benefits and advantages of the BoSS range. Over 10 PASMA trainers attended the hands-on event, held at Youngman’s Maldon facility, and the presentation covered the importance of keeping safe and using the right access towers that are required for the job.

Stuart Van Dort, Division Manager for Youngman, comments: “We were proud to host and showcase our products at this training session during what is such an important week for the industry. Helping support instructors is key to ensuring that users know exactly how to work safely with access towers.”

Youngman has an extensive range of access towers including those deisgned for use in confined spaces such as lift shafts and stairwells as well as the Zone 1 tower, which is design for use in special environments. All its access towers meet EN1004:2004, which is the European standard for mobile access and working towers, and range from 2.5m to 8m for external use and 12m for internal use.
