We're proud to support PASMA's Tower Safety Week, which promotes the importance of keeping safe and using the right equipment when working at heights.

To promote a safe working environment and to ensure you are using access towers correctly take a look at the guides to working well with towers.

If you choose the right equipment, your're working well with towers.

For Standard Tower Use
Make sure you choose a tower that meets product standard, (BS) EN 1004, by looking for the label.

For Complex Tower Builds

Such as towers with cantilevers or stepped towers, make sure you choose a tower that meets product standard, BS 1139-6, by checking the assembly guide.

If you inspect and record, your're working well with towers.

After Assembly and Before First Use

If stability or structural integrity is affected

After Alteration and Before Use

Not Less Than Every 7 Days

If you build using the approved methods, your're working well with towers.

Advance Guardrail (AGR)

Fit the advance guardrail to the tower before climbing.

Through The Trap (3T)

Fit side protection from the trapdoor before stepping on to the platform.

If you're trained and competent, your're working well with towers.

Only get trained by an approved and audited PASMA training member - you will know them by their website smart badge.
More complex towers need special levels of training - get trained for the tower you will be building.
A PASMA card is a great way to help evidence competence.
